Iron Mountain is located 25 miles East of San Diego and 10 miles South of Old Town Ramona. The trailhead parking lot is located where Poway Rd dead ends at Hwy 67. There's a nice, yet ever changing terrain to ascend. There's virtually no shade, so hydrate and prepare for a 1.5hr hike(+/-30mins). At summit, the views are stunning. Enjoy!
